Sea Wolves, a song I made whereas the music video reflects London as a melting pot of cultures.
I totally respect that the UK has their own freedom to chose who they want to rule there country. The EU with all honesty has been a big part of the UK, especially in embracing the easy access of trading and marketing of products across the country. And the UK has immensely made a huge impact to the EU by welcoming all the EU citizens in the UK providing them with benefits and jobs made them in favour of the immigration laws. During the World War 2, UK joined the European Union to build a steady wall of support through out the helping hands of its neighbouring European countries. A total of 28 countries before the EU referendum last 23rd of July now a number of 27 left as UK demand to divorce its ties towards the common market. I lived in London for 8 years now, and I have to agree that this city is a true melting pot of cultures from every walks of life. A tourist destination and for some other EU citizens it is a haven of greener opportunities. I have met a lot of people coming from the EU and most of them chosen to settle down in the vibrant oasis of London. Yet in my own opinion my vision thinks we belong to the WORLD, "no man is an island" according to the famous saying. There are a lot of refugees all over the world asking for support towards their survival needs. These are people who belongs to countries who were destroyed because of war and injustice. For some of us who lives with full support from the country like United Kingdom, waking up everyday knowing life is fine and better would never reach the feeling of frustration, strain and struggle of a refugee. In my own opinion countries who are privileged like the UK and all the members of the EU should support the movement for world peace instead of probable warfares.
I know base on my experience as an independent artist I have no manager, I am not under a record label I have been rejected several times saying I am not marketable enough to earn a following, yet still I am striving to get my music out there to be heard not because I want to be famous but because of a purpose and it is not through my selfishness desires, but instead to promote RESPECT and change to the world for the better and to unite as one. I know to others it sounds corny and unreal but I use my music as a tool to promote my desires of peace and unity. Some people think I'm weird and introvert, but that is how I function as a human being as we are all different. I may not boast too much about myself but I know I am grateful of God's given talent and I would like to be able to be of USE by doing so. I don't like dogma nor following the trend. I do believe that a true artist is someone who is able to stand for his or her own creation without the fear of someone else's judgements. My music is different and that is me, my thoughts, my heart and my soul. That is why to sum up all these I would like to thank the people who have helped me make my vision come to reality by sharing their time in making my my music video SEA WOLVES possible. We all danced in the streets of London near Angel station. This Video will make you release your ego and just live life the way you wanted it to be, free from fear and embracing uncertainties!
